XIST IS PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE THE 2010 WINNERS:
First Place "Rising Star"- 11 year old Joseph Brunner of Fairfield, NJ
Second Place "Shining Star"- 5 year old Carizma Ross of Jersey City, NJ
Third Place "Bright Star"- 15 year old Gina Nappi of Township of Washington, NJ
Talented children ages 4 - 17 will compete before a panel of judges in 3 categories: Runway Modeling, Performance, and Talent of Choice.
The competition mimics a day in Hollywood as all competitors prepare backstage receiving hair and makeup styling just like their favorite movie stars. Every performance on-stage will be simultaneously viewed on a theater-sized projection screen before a large audience.
FIRST PRIZE - "Rising Star": $500 cash, Representation with Xist Talent, A modeling comp card photoshoot with Xist Talent, Tropy award & VIP swag bag.
SECOND PRIZE - "Shining Star": $200 cash, Representation with Xist Talent, Tropy award & VIP swag bag.
THIRD PRIZE - "Bright Star": $100 cash, Representation with Xist Talent, Trophy award and VIP swag bag.

Gia Giudice
Gia is a favorite on Bravo's hit reality show 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey', next to her mother, Housewife Teresa Giudice. As a professional actress and model herself, Gia is thrilled to be able to host this first annual event. What better way to celebrate young talent, than alongside a young professional? Gia is excited to meet the competitors and audience fans!
COMPETITION AUDITIONS
Xist's Rising Stars Talent Competition is open to talented kids ages 4 - 17.
This exciting showcase of talent is by invitation only, and limited to 40 competitors
In order to be considered for the competition, applicants must attend an open audition.
The audition process will include a short interview, cold-reading (commercial, film or tv), and a 30 second performance of a talent of choice. Children not yet able to read will be asked to tell a short story.

Experience a day in Hollywood! Xist's Rising Stars Competition invites you to enjoy a showcase of young up and coming talent as they compete to see who will reach for the stars and rise to the top.
Enjoy mingling with your favorite Reality TV stars! Meet Teresa Giudice and Dina Manzo from Bravo's 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey', and Gayle and Christie from Style Network's 'Jerseylicious'.
Not to mention Gia Giudice, 9 year old Emcee of the Competition, and favorite on the Real Housewives of New Jersey.
Exhibitors in fashion and kid-geared services will be on hand for some light shopping, and refreshments will be available.

Teresa Giudice
As one of the stars of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Teresa Giudice is a true Jersey girl born and raised. Her parents emigrated from Italy and raised both Teresa and her brother Giuseppe, in an Italian Catholic home in Paterson.
Teresa is a true housewife, if there ever was one, devoting herself to husband Joe, and her four beautiful daughters -- Gia, Gabriella, Milania and baby Audriana -- and managing the household while still managing to stay "fabulous!" She shuttles her girls to dance, gymnastics, acting, voice and guitar lessons, while always making sure her home is beautiful and there is homemade dinner at the table each night -- all without the help of a nanny, housekeeper or personal assistant
Christy Pereira & Tracy DiMarco
Stars of Style Network's hit show 'Jerseylicious', Christy is co-owner of the Gatsby Salon in Greenbrook, NJ, and the proud mommy of baby girl, Daniella. Tracy, a stylist at the Gatsby salon proves that she can hold an audience with her true-to-Jersey personality and style.
Ilyssa Panitz
Ilyssa is a well-regarded journalist in the industry, who has covered many major news stories including The September 11th attacks on NYC, The NBA finals, The Tony Awards, and The MTV Video Music Awards. Ilyssa has interviewed everyone from the average Joe on the street to many of Hollywood's A-list celebrities. When she is not out and about getting the scoop, Ilyssa is a doting wife and mom to her two daughters.
Dina Manzo
Dina Manzo is a family woman, a business owner, and the founder of the non-profit organization Project Ladybug, and owner of the successful event planning company Designer Affair and lets not forget one of the stars of Bravo's Real Housewives of New Jersey. Dina is also a loving wife and mother. As the founder of Project Ladybug, Dina is extremely passionate and dedicated to giving back to children with cancer. Her goal is to have Ladybug funds in hospitals across the country so children everywhere could feel the positive effects of such an amazing organization.

COMPETITION EXHIBITORS
Xist's Rising Stars Talent Competition is accepting applications from potential Exhibitors for this year's event.
We are looking for high-end boutiques, unique services, and businesses targeting the child, tween, and teen markets.
Exhibitors will receive a standard 6 foot table in an open area within steps from audience seating inside the venue.
This is a highly visible marketing opportunity, and spaces are very limited.
